IAA Frankfurt 2011

ŠKODA | Press Conference

United Visions staged the ŠKODA press conference at the 64th International Automobile Exhibition (IAA). The IAA in Frankfurt is the world’s most important mobility tradeshow. The event had a total of 900,000 visitors, including over 12,000 journalists from 98 countries.

ŠKODA commissioned United Visions with the delivery of a full-service package, including concept development, complete graphics and film production, and on-site event direction. The goal was to emphasize the values of “internationality” and “human touch” and to communicate a brand-compliant overall concept.
We defined visual elements that ran uniformly through the entire press conference, such as an abstract world-map image that could be found in all graphic and filmic elements all the way from the film to the trade-stand architecture.
The major highlight of the press conference was the presentation of the show car, Mission L, unveiled in typical ŠKODA manner by a group of happy people. The matching presentation of live performance and film increased the comprehensive aesthetic consistency of the event.
The tradeshow film produced by United Visions was used during the press conference and also formed part of the tradeshow program on those days open to the general public.
