World Premiere Macan

On the eve of this year’s LA Auto Show, Porsche celebrated the world premiere of the Macan against a spectacular backdrop at the company’s stand in Petree Hall. The new Macan represents Porsche’s entry into a brand-new vehicle segment.

On the occasion of this special event, United Visions produced a complex package of films and graphics designed for projection onto a media space extending roughly 22 meters wide and 4 meters high. Content was created for a total of five kinetic moveable LED screens with a total resolution of 4032 x 648 pixels. The graphic content generated in 3D CGI was produced natively in 50p.

United Visions was also responsible for the post-production of a number of partly pre-produced films for the event’s special format.

Over 300 journalists were invited to attend the evening’s events showcasing the Macan’s world premiere. Those events were followed by a press conference on the next day as well as further evening events for an invited audience of experts.

United Visions also produced an AV loop for the press events and open-door days.The entire package of elaborate graphics and films tailor-made for the special format provided a perfect setting for the presentation of the vehicles.

The Asian premiere of the Macan took place almost simultaneously in Tokyo, where United Visions was also responsible for the content.
