Volkswagen | Trade Fair Film

The campaign’s aim was to lift Volkswagen’s bestselling car in the US to the level of Volkswagen’s best hybrid.

The film was designed so as to showcase the Volkswagen Hybrid technology at an affordable price and with a major fun factor. It also sought to embed the existing target group even further and to and win over those individuals who have concerns about hybrid cars.

The concept was driven by an emotions concept based on human touch and showcasing the technical details of the car. The film plays with stereotypical kinds of characters used to emotionalize the car. The driving shots are clean and glossy, sunny and human.

The film was presented at the launch of the Jetta Hybrid at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show and was widely respected as a film made for the US market. It displays all the demands of what Volkswagen stands for in the US and shows the perspective of hybrid cars in the future!
