Volkswagen Group | Group Night

Under the slogan „Driven by Desire“ more than 1.600 invited guest followed Volkswagen Group´s invitation to the 12th Volkswagen Group Night which took place on the eve of the Mondial de l´Automobile in Paris.


Traditionally, United Visions developed and produced the graphic and video content for the event putting the 10 car brands of the Volkswagen Group into scene at the “Halle Freyssinet”.


The media setup consisted of three soil depth HighRes LED screens (6mm resolution) and 6 LowRes Inspire LED walls (18mm resolution), which were movable across the entire stage (60 meters) at two levels and enabled a spectacular media presentation.


Each of the ten presented car brands of the Volkswagen brand were given an individual and coherent world of graphics. In order to enhance graphic visualization live performances were combined with synchronized LED content.


The chosen audience got an exclusive preview of this years car premieres and tradeshow highlights of the Volkswagen Group and also an insight into the corporate values of the VW Group on the basis of ten thematic films.


The most spectacular launches of the Volkswagen Group included the Lamborghini Gallardo 540-2, the Bentley Continental GT Speed and also the Volkswagen Golf 7. Despite the fact that the VW Golf already had its world premier in September at the Berlin National Gallery the Blue Motion model was presented for the first time at the Group Night in Paris.
