Volkswagen Group | Group Night

The Volkswagen Group invited more than 900 international journalists and guests to take an exclusive look at the latest car models and highlights of the Volkswagen brands. The event took place one day prior to the opening of the International Geneva Motor Show,

United Visions developed the overall media concept for this event. First United Visions designed the unique CI and on this base created the high-class motion graphics package. The media setup consisted of four 16:9 LED screens with a width of 7 meters and a plasma screen, which was lowered from the stage roof during several media presentations for illustration purposes.

Furthermore, United Visions produced several films, e.g. an emotional opening film that depicted the Group Night’s motto “Technology in Motion” in a visually stunning manner.

The unique challenge of this event was to shoot and post-produce a film on the same day of the event. The film accompanies a group of journalists and members of the Volkswagen board on a driving tour from Lucerne to Geneva in new Volkswagen XL1 cars. Within a few hours United Visions was able to deliver an appealing and sterling film.
